A quality generic of Zanil containing oxyclozanide. Distocur is effective against rumen fluke, mature adult liver fluke and tapeworm in sheep and cattle.
Cattle dosage is 3 ml/ 10 kg and once you reach 350 kg the dose is 103 ml per animal. Sheep dose is 4.4 ml per 10 kg upto 45 kg therafter 20 ml per sheep. Withdrawal for meat is 14 days and milk is 108 hours for cows and 168 for ewes/goats. Shake very well before use.
We recommend faecal samples to quantify rumen fluke eggs and tailor treatment plans accordingly sometimes requiring repeat of dosage 3 days later and a higher dose rate. Contact the clinic for advice.
