Dry cow sealer containing 2.6 g of Bismuth subnitrate used to prevent intramammary infections throughout the dry period. As with all sealers teat disinfection and hygiene is paramount and used correctly Fatroseal resides as a viscous seal at the teat canal for 100 days.
Fatroseal tubes have a dual tip nozzle , the short nozzle allowing for a seal just inside the teat canal end, the long nozzle goes to the top of the teat canal and is more suitable for use in nervous cows. Withdrawal periods are 0.
This is quite a viscous thick product so storing it indoors at room temperature the night before use is advisable especially in a cold winter milking parlour .
