Description

A 2 ml shot subcutaneously  for leptosporisis given  4 to 6 weeks apart with a booster yearly before breeding. Protects beef and dairy animals against Leptospira Hardjo serovars which are found in 76% of cases of abortion in Ireland.

Infected urine is the main way of spread and its very contagious. Beware of new stock bulls or bought in cattle and even sheep can carry it. Cattle can be vaccinated anytime from one month of age and ideally should have 2 shots got pre-breeding.  LEPTOSPIROSIS IS SO WIDESPREAD YOU WOULD BE MAD NOT TO VACCINATE FOR IT!
