Arkguard for Lambs provides an additional supply of natural immunoglobulins in the first few days of life. Arkguard Lamb contains a the highest immunoglobulin A and G levels and specific protein molecules which helps support the natural defences of the digestive tract of the newborn lamb.
Why do I need Arkguard?
Arkguard helps prevent watery mouth which can be a fatal disease in lambs within the first 24-72 hours of their lives. Watery mouth is caused when lambs ingest large amounts of bacteria from the environment which then quickly multiply inside the gut and release toxins into the bloodstream. This is when we see the clinical signs of watery mouth. Remember it is still important for lambs to get colostrum!!!!
The key with Arkguard is to get this product into the lamb as soon after birth as possible. The recommended dosage is 2mls orally. This is a fantastic alternative to spectam scour halt. This bottle can be used for up to 40 lambs.
